Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 October 2026
By creating an account or using SkydocPlus you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Best-Effort Convenience Tool Only
SkydocPlus is a best-effort convenience reminder tool only. It is not a legal, regulatory, maritime, immigration or compliance advisory service, and it is not an official record of any document. Reminders are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
2. Your sole responsibility
You retain sole and complete legal responsibility for knowing the validity of, and for timely renewing, every document, licence, certificate, visa or permit you hold, and for the accuracy of the dates you enter. You must independently verify all dates against the original document and the issuing authority.
3. Delivery of notifications
Email and WhatsApp messages depend on third-party networks (email providers, Meta, mobile carriers, internet connectivity at sea or ashore). We do not guarantee that any reminder will be delivered, delivered on time, or read. Delays, filtering as spam, number changes, account restrictions or outages are outside our control.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkydocPlus and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive loss — including lost employment, missed voyages or contracts, fines, penalties, detention, denied boarding, deportation, or loss of income — arising from (a) missed, late or undelivered reminders; (b) third-party telecom, email or messaging delays or failures; (c) inaccurate data entered by you; or (d) service unavailability. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or INR 1,000 (or equivalent), whichever is lower.
5. Accounts
- You must be 18 or older and provide accurate contact details.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
- Do not store document images, full government ID numbers you are not permitted to keep, or unlawful content.
6. Subscriptions
Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we process personal data under the DPDP Act and GDPR.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service or breach these Terms.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use means acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at the operator's registered location having jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
